[STRATEGIC PRODUCTION ANALYSIS]

Creative Case Studies

A deep dive into the intersection of cinematic craftsmanship and institutional outcomes. These analyses highlight the problem-solving mechanics behind major higher-ed and broadcast campaigns.

Case Study 01: Beyond the Border - Immersive Study Abroad Narrative

Campaign Type: Higher Education Recruitment              Distribution: Web, Social, Presentation

The Challenge

Target Demographic

Prospective, globally minded students were experiencing fatigue from traditional, transactional 'brochure marketing' for international immersion tracks. The institution required an authentic, high-impact recruitment tool capable of driving enrollment numbers by capturing the true emotional weight of stepping outside a comfort zone.

The Approach

Rather than reliance on scripted marketing prompts, my direction prioritized an atmospheric, documentary pacing. I used natural golden light, deep ambient environmental textures (stone, wind, ancient pages), and unscripted dialogue to create intellectual warmth and emotional honesty. By structuring the edit as an unfolding personal chapter, the film frames study abroad as a transformative journey of becoming.

High-achieving secondary students, out-of-state prospective candidates, global studies departments, and alumni donor bases.
