Media & Storytelling

What Guides My Creative Life
I have always been drawn to the quiet details. The way light softens a room. The breath someone takes before they speak. The small, unguarded expressions that reveal who we are. These moments guide my approach to filmmaking and creative direction.
I create with warmth and intention, choosing clarity over noise and meaning over spectacle. Whether I am shaping a brand film, directing a campus story, or building a narrative that helps someone feel seen, I move with a steady, grounded presence that keeps the work human.
A Journey Through the Lens
My love for storytelling began early with a first camera that felt like a doorway. That curiosity carried me through PBS studios, film sets, and documentary teams where I learned how to listen, observe, and translate emotion into something visual and lasting.
Today I bring that same sense of exploration to my work at Tennessee Tech, where I craft TV spots, brand commercials, feature-length commentaries, and event stories. My MBA strengthened the strategic side of my craft, helping me blend creative intuition with marketing insight. Earning my FAA Part 107 certification opened a new chapter, allowing me to explore stories from above through drone cinematography.
How I Work
I am drawn to projects that feel alive. The ones that ask for reflection, movement, and a sense of unfolding. I thrive in collaborative environments where ideas are shaped with care and where the process matters as much as the final cut.
My background in dance and barre instruction also shapes my creative rhythm. Movement teaches you to pay attention. It teaches you to find breath, pacing, and intention. That awareness shows up in my filmmaking in the way I frame a moment, guide a story, and build a visual arc that feels both grounded and expressive.
Beyond the Camera
When I am not editing or filming, you will find me exploring local trails, wandering through new cities, or learning something that shifts my perspective. Curiosity is the thread that runs through everything I do. It keeps me open. It keeps me moving.
Where I Am Heading
I am always looking for the next story that asks to be told. The kind that blends emotion, strategy, and craft into something that resonates. My work is rooted in the belief that visuals can move people, shape understanding, and create connection.
If you are building something thoughtful and human, I would love to be part of the journey.
